Born in Catania in 1977, after the School of Comics of Milan in '99 he started to work in many italian independent
comics zines and magazines: Fumettagenda, Plastilina, Kerosene, Centrifuga, Krakatoa, Frigidaire, Blue [with his
character for adults Orietta Ficium, alias Ori Ficium], The Artist, Sinestesie, Res-Istanze, Inguine m(h)afia,
Internazionale until he created Nonzi [a thematic comics antology, linked to the illustrated book Pezzi].
He worked
for Carta and for L'Isola Possibile [sicilian section of the italian newspaper Il Manifesto] with the strips Tgg 'mpare.

In the special issue of Kerosene magazine about G8 of 2001 in Genoa he published Cos'ho fatto a Genova
[What I did in Genoa], his first autobiographical work of comics journalism, reprinted last year in the comic's antology
GEvsG8, a benefit volume for Supportolegale, the group who supports the legal team of Genoa.
He worked too for many famous italian satirical magazines such as Cuore, La Piccola Unità, L'Erroneo, Guerre&Pace,
Liberazione,
Progetto Comunista, Erre, Falcemartello, Scarceranda and he published five humoristic books: Cribbio
[
2004, Edizioni Interculturali], Bertinotte [2006, Progetto Comunista], Papa Nazingher [2008, Purple Press], La
Ministronza
[2009, Grrržetic] and Berluscoiti [2009, Castelvecchi].

He also made two comic books: Non più Estate [2007,
Centro Fumetto Andrea Pazienza], Dark Country [2008,
Selfcomics] and his first graphic novel Zona del Silenzio, [2009, Minimum Fax].
